Our Assessment Tests for Proposal Writers evaluate the skills of prospective proposal writers.

Instead of hiring writers on the basis of their CV or sketchy references, you can quickly test their writing skills to determine their vocabulary, grammar, and proposal writing skills.

These tests will assist you in:

• Evaluating prospective employees
• Appraising current staff members and
• Assessing their capacity to work in with your Business Development team.

These tests are ideal when interviewing new writers, particularly if you don't have previous experience in hiring writers and are under pressure to recruit quickly.

These tests quickly separate the 'wheat from the chaff'. If your prospective employees do not pass these tests - despite what their CV says - you will have saved yourself thousands of dollars.

The tests gauge an individual's understanding of grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and proposal writing skills; it's divided into five sections:

After the applicant has completed the form, use the Scoring Sheet to total their scores. We have included suggested grades, e.g. 40 points for a pass, though you can revise this based on the role for which they are applying.

We recommend that you offer your prospective employee about an hour to complete the questions.

Most of the questions are straightforward and, with the exception of the sentence revision questions, will not require much time to complete.
