An Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) verifies that the final deliverable meets the customer’s requirements. This is used to validate that the software meets the agreed requirements. The Customer uses it to determine whether to accept delivery of the software. Use this template to:
1. Describe what capabilities are being tested and which requirements are being verified by this test.
2 Enable the customer to determine if the system is working according to the specifications in the contract.
3. Outline test preconditions, steps, and post-conditions.
4. Ensure that all components of the system are tested.
