What is it?
The Installation Plan is used when installing software, for example at a client's site, and includes the preparation, training, and conversion from existing systems.

Who uses it?
Technical Architect, Development Manager, Project Manager, IT Manager, Test Manager, Documentation Manager, Technical Writers, System Administrator.

When is it used?
An Installation Plan is required for the installation of software / hardware / networks when the installation process is sufficiently complex to require a documented plan. An Installation Manual describes the procedures for installing and configuring the application in the production environments.
