What is it?
The System / Subsystem specification plan describes the
requirements for a system or subsystem and the methods to be used to ensure that each
requirement is met. This template is used to identify the specifications of an IT system
and its subsystems, as well as providing detailed description of its functions. It also
defines interfaces with other systems/subsystems.
Who uses it?
Technical Architect, Development Manager, Project Manager, IT Manager, System
Administrator, Documentation Manager.
When is it used?
The System / Subsystem specification is used to describe the methods that will ensure that
each requirement is met. Requirements related to the system or subsystem interfaces may be
presented in the system/subsystem specification plan.
